MelKillingsworth.jpg

Hailing from the USA, Mel Killingsworth brings a depth of knowledge from Hollywood's homeland to Australias shores. She wrote and directed her first production in 2013 and since then has written and directed four more short films, studied as a story producer and show-runner on shows for HULU, FOX, and VH1, associate produced feature films, edited award-winning feature documentaries, and directed numerous web series.

Currently Mel works as a freelance filmmaker in Melbourne having just finished production of the comedy web series Phi & Me (2018), as well as writing a short film for a local production company. In 2018 she also produced feature film The Fort (2019) and solely directed web series mockumentary Real Melbourne (2019).

Melanie’s approach to film is story and character first, ensuring that shots, lenses, colours, editing, and acting serves the story as a priority. She believes bringing those elements together is the backbone of any good director.

Justin Edbrooke - Producer / Writer

Justin Edbrooke started out as an actor, performing since he was twelve years old. He appeared in a dozen stage productions throughout his teenage years including a touring production across Europe in 2002.

In early 2004 Justin began a screen career which included guest roles on Chris Lilley’s Logie award-winning ‘We Can Be Heroes’, ‘Neighbours’ and ‘Blue Heelers’.
